my heart is on the outside, looking at these photos. erin, i was almost going to email you today, as i had seen you'd been absent for a while. it is so lovely to see you back. these photos leave me feeling broken hearted, but also full of love and hope. sally
I gasped when I saw the first picture! What a beautiful boy. I have a question. Are you going to be at the closing of the art show at the little gallery under the stairs? I could not make the opening. I would really like to meet you in real life.
I have decreased my hours as a Labor Nurse and I am teaching Nursing students. I had a guest speaker last night discuss loss of a child to my nursing students because I think it is one of the biggest thing we, as Nurses can help or hinder. Many nurses say nothing becaue they don't know what to say but I think that is much worse. Ignoring your patient and not being emotionally present for them is much much more damaging, I think.
Your blog has been a huge service to other folks who have lost babies. My guest speaker told the class that most men will not talk about it. But they may chat on the internent. I have worked with this guest speaker for 6 years. When it comes to loss of a child, no one is better suited to help out.
So, I digress as usual. The main question was, are you going to be at the closing of the show? I would really like to meet you.
