Whaddya Got On Tap?

Oh yes I will have a pint Berkshire Brewery Steel Rail please! For those of you who don't know I am a fan of the beer. I will not drink what I call "crappy beer", no only the best for me. I love the German Weiss beers with an orange (SO GOOD, its ads a tinge of sweet and orange to the flavor of the beer!), but if I can't get a Weiss on tap, then I just go for the best of the choices available.

I have not been drinking much at all in the past nearly 10 months. I was told that that drinking isn't good for one's fertility. So, I took that very seriously and had maybe 4 tastes of beer in the last 10 months. Then I had this great conversation with a good friend who was conceived from a drunken night that her parents had. So, I got to thinking, since we are so focused on our ttc (we are in ttc land this weekend people!) that maybe I need to loosen up a little. Ah, I know just how to do that....GIVE ME A BEER!

So, since other methods have not worked thus far....lets try the tipsy method! Don't worry we are not drinking and driving. Matt is my designated driver (and he has been sick, so no drinks for him!), in more ways then one! Ha ha! That's pretty funny. Anyways, so yeah drinking and well making out, what can I say it makes things all the more interesting!

Has anyone else tried the drunken ttc method?

Oh and at the bar last night, this guy asked Matt how much he would pay to have someone punch him (Matt) because he (Matt) is so pretty! WTF?

I think you have a great plan on ttc. loosen up about it and just let it take you where it takes you....the drunken ttc worked for us once...and it added a little spice!!! enjoy each other!

Natan was definitely conceived with the help of vodka and Bailey's Irish cream. I wasn't paying attention to dates and numbers with Samuel, but probably he was helped along with a little bit too. Good luck. It's Sunday already, but I hope this weekend has been fun and relaxing at the very least.

Appendages crossed for some good news in two weeks.

Jacob was definitely conceived after a couple of glasses of red wine.
I was under the impression, but I may be wrong, that alcohol affects sperm more. So your combination of drunkenness and Matt's soberness may just be the winning one. As it's the Sunday of your fun weekend, I hope that it was!
What a weird comment by the guy in the bar.

My current pregnancy and in fact, both my successful ones were helped along by quite a lot of white wine during conception.

Must help with implantation, eh? ;)

Both of our children were conceived in drunken stupor...memorable of course AND both on vacation. Once in Washington DC and the other time in Vegas.
I think the "relax" method is the best.
Best Wishes!!!

I don't know if it helps, but it certainly adds to the fun factor. And I hope you had lots of it.

My niece was most definitely conceived in drunkenness - so much so, that my SIL can't remember which drunken night she was conceived.

Even if this isn't THE month, I hope you had a good weekend that drew you guys closer together. (But I do hope and pray that you have a little love muffin in about 9 months!)

Oh yes indeed. This little thing squirming in my abdomen is the result of two bottles of wine between us.
Love and Hope and quite a few tears too.

I'm soo into this beer lately called "Terrible."

It's made by Unibroue, in Canada I believe.

All of their beers are amazing.

- Oh, and punch Matt??!! He deserves a nice hug for being so pretty, not a beating. Cripes!

I think everything I've read indicates that substances affect sperm more also - alcohol and marijuana both decrease sperm count. My best friend's husband has had a very boring few years as a result.

I will seriously LMAO if the drunken method works. Seriously. The kid and I would be bonded for life.
