I had been taking a sewing class and in the class we learned how to use our sewing machine, and this is what we made! (we each made a different one with our own fabrics) I Love my BIRDIE BAG!
Oh my gosh, it's so pretty! My poor husband has to sew his own buttons back on, I have no idea how to do it. LOL! Oh well, I'm a great cook :) I guess it's okay that I can't make our own clothes...
i'm having a rough deadbaby night and i thought i'd drop by. glad to see you back. you always express so much; there are so many things i want to say to you but i dont feel like i could do you any justice. just want to say that your daughter is beautiful, your words are astonishingly impactful, your love is palpable as is your grief. i cry almost every time i come to your blog. it helps me feel the loss of my baby girl and it helps me not feel so overwhelmed by parenting my living children.
That must have been some class! I adore your bag and wish I could make something very similar for myself with this great fabric I have. Very beautiful and what a lovely reminder to carry with you.

That is absolutely beautiful. I might have to make one for my Aodin too. Was it very difficult? I am not good with sewing.
