She has posted my blog link with MY FULL NAME, so I want to post her info(BUT I WON'T SINK THAT LOW),she has destroyed my life even more with furthering HER POLITICAL cause with the DEATH OF MY BABY from MY attempted homebirth
Dr.Amy I don't want you to slander me or my baby's memory anymore, REMOVE THE LINK PLEASE! Dr. Amy you didn't realize that you have actually posted my info on your blog, anyone can find me, just as I found her (if you want to contact her let me know). I am serious about her removing the link to this blog, this is no joke, my blog is a memorium, a sacred place where other mama's can come and read, and maybe take something from as I try to pick up the pieces of my shattered life. I don't appreciate her posting a link to me on her blog, furthering her Dr. Amy political cause.
Others have been succesfull with stopping harrassment against them on their blogs (with the info of the trolls who have done it), I am fighting for this too!
Dr. Amy, REMOVE the link! You are a disgrace to your profession, you are a disgrace to womankind. I want my blog back, NOW!
You have done enough damage to me, you have proved yourself a horrible person and a disgrace to your "profession" enough is enough. I want you to REMOVE THE LINK!

p.s. HER INFO IS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC ON THE INTERNET, I FOUND IT VIA A SIMPLE SEARCH!

Erin-
I can understand you are upset with Amy for linking your Public boards, but I have to say that YOU have crossed the line posting HER personal information.
She has NOT posted any personal information of your (name, address or phone number) she has ONLY posted information that YOU have posted about yourself.
You post how you are going to sue her? What are you going to sue her for? For putting up a link to a PUBLIC website? If anything SHE has a lawsuit against YOU.
Erin, it's probably not a good idea to post her info publicly. But I would say that you can probably use the info you found to launch a complaint with the medical association of her state. Her saying that she knows why Birdie died is unfounded and is inconsistent with being a doctor.
You might want to check the ToS agreememt with your blog before you post personal info about someone..
"Users may not post other people's personally identifying or confidential information, including but not limited to credit card numbers, Social Security Numbers, and driver's and other license numbers. Amy did NOT post your full name. She's only posted a link to your blog (whether you agree with her posting a link or not). YOU are the one who posted your full name on your public blog. I do not see anywhere on Amy's site where she's listed your full name, address and phone number.
Since Amy's personal information can be found on whitepages.com (I had to find the last digit for the phone number since it's missing), I think Erin has every right to do this. I've called her and asked her politely to remove the link to your blog, Erin. Hopefully she will do so soon.
I am a homebirthing mom and am in total support of homebirth. Hospitals and doctors like Amy scare the shit out of me. My sympathies go to you, Erin, for having to deal with such an ignorant person on top of your grief of losing your beautiful daughter.
I'm not saying I agree or disagree with what's posted on Amy's blog or Erin's blog. But there are some differences between what Amy has posted and what Erin is attempting to do.
Amy has NOT posted anything other then what Erin herself has posted. I'm sure Erin would not appriciate anyone posting her address and phone number on a public blog.
As for taking the time to look up someone's personal information in the white pages, I'm sure it would be easy for anyone who reads this blog to look up Erin's info but I'm also sure she wouldn't want someone calling or writting her at home telling her what they think.
You have to remember that you are posting in Public for the whole world to see (even if there are people you don't want to see). Once Erin posted the information and made it public anyone has the right to read / view and comment.
Whether or not anyone agrees with what someone posted.
I reported Dr. Amy's post to Blogger as defamatory.
While I'm certainly not giving you legal advice, she may have violated state libel law as well. I recommend that you make copies of all of her objectionable statements to preserve them for possible legal action.
I read the post on Amy's blog, and I posted the following in response. I think that it may be helpful to the grieving Ms. Erin and her family...
U.S. has second worst newborn death rate in modern world, report says
American babies are three times more likely to die in their first month as children born in Japan, and newborn mortality is 2.5 times higher in the United States than in Finland, Iceland or Norway, Save the Children researchers found.
Only Latvia, with six deaths per 1,000 live births, has a higher death rate for newborns than the United States, which is tied near the bottom of industrialized nations with Hungary, Malta, Poland and Slovakia with five deaths per 1,000 births.
"The United States has more neonatologists and neonatal intensive care beds per person than Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, but its newborn rate is higher than any of those countries," said the annual State of the World's Mothers report.

If only ".6%" of women give birth at home, then clearly the problem of neonatal death in the US is not a homebirth problem.
The high neonatal mortality rate in the US is not because of a higher homebirth rate either. At ".6%" the US has one of the lower homebirth rates among the developed world.

I also add that Norway which has had a constant 30% homebirth rate, has a lower infant mortality rate at just above 3 deaths per thousand.

So the point is there is no way to tell whether or not your baby would have survived had you been in a hospital. Even with all the technology in the world, not all babies make it. I suggest that you don't waste your energy pondering or debating (with yourself or with others) the if's of the situation, because NO one can say for certain what the outcome would have been "if".
You and your family have my deepest sympathy and may you have a complete speedy recovery...physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
I am so sorry for your loss and also sorry that these cruel people are adding to your pain. The behavior of Dr. Amy is despicable. As a grieving mother, it makes me physically ill to read her writing. She should be deeply ashamed.
